INDIVIDUAL TEXTURE SET INFO
---------------------------------
Many of my
texture sets have information available prior to
purchase.
You can get a copy of my store
policies and individual texture set info by touching
(left clicking upon) the store navigation signs.
This will pop-up
a notecard on your screen which you can then read and
discard or save to your inventory.

ABOUT OUR VENDORS
------------------------
Our new vendors
offer more versatility for your specific shopping needs.
Upon arrival, each vendor displays our standard default
store logo (See below). This uniform
practice will help reduce lag you would otherwise
experience at zone-in. To locate the textures you want
to browse, please use the store navigational signs to
find the section you're looking for, and then mouse-over
each vendor to find the texture set name.
To activate a
specific vendor, simply touch it. The vendor will
whisper you the set information and then begin to
display the contained textures. To advance to the next
texture, simply touch the vendor again. The vendor will
continue to cycle each time you touch it.
At any point you
can pay the vendor to purchase either the full set or
the individually displayed texture.
Example:
* Buying
Individual Textures - Pay the vendor displaying the
current texture you want; right-click and select "Pay"
the TOP amount. The individual texture will be placed in
your system textures folder.
* Buying Texture
Sets - Pay the vendor containing the texture set you
want; right-click and select "Pay" the BOTTOM amount.
The set will be placed in your inventory in its own
folder that will likely appear in your main inventory
list.
If a vendor has been idle for 30
seconds, it will whisper you again to let you know it
will reset back to the default state. To continue
browsing, simply touch the browser again, or do nothing
to allow the vendor to reset.

TEXTURE REPLACEMENT POLICY
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
For whatever
reason, you may not have a texture delivered. Please
follow the below instructions to request replacements:
Texture Sets -
If you purchased a texture set, it should have arrived
in your main inventory in a folder. If it did not,
please drop a notecard on Salome Strangelove with the
date/time of your purchase and the set name for
replacement.
Individual
Textures - If you purchased an individual texture, it
should arrive in your Textures system folder. If it did
not appear there, please make a note of the texture
number in its set (this is designated by the text that
appears on the vendor: "Currently displaying X of Y").
Then, drop a notecard to Salome Strangelove with the
date/time of your purchase and the texture number and
set.
Texture replacement requests must
be made within 7 days of purchase.
For individual texture purchases,
if you do not provide the texture number, I cannot offer
you a replacement.
All replacements are generally
addressed within 48 hours; if you do not get a response,
please try again.

WHY NO RETURNS - NO
EXCEPTIONS POLICY?

All Esprit Decor
textures are sold full-perm and thus there is no way for
you to "return" any of them. No returns, no refunds, no
exchanges and no exceptions is the policy we've had to
adopt. If you are unhappy with a texture or a set,
please IM me - SALOME STRANGELOVE - and I will try to
address your concerns in a manner that will be
satisfactory to us both.
We sell our
textures full perm because our focus is on builders and
designers and these individuals must be able to resell
their work; they can't do that with restricted textures.
In the case of
accidental double-purchase for FULL SETS ONLY, refunds
are considered, but not guaranteed. If you experience
this concern, please drop a notecard to SALOME
STRANGELOVE with the date/time of purchase and the name
of the set. Double-purchase refund requests for full
sets must be made within 7 days of purchase and cannot
be offered if the sale is unable to be verified. Please
shop carefully.

BULK ORDERS, DISCOUNTS &
CUSTOM TEXTURES

Bulk Orders are
welcome. If you want five (5) or more sets, please
contact me for a 10% discount on your order. Simply drop
a notecard on me with the set names and I'll contact you
for payment and transfer. Discounts are only offered
pre-sale and will not be executed as post-sale refunds.
Custom textures
/ Coordinating textures for individual projects are
sometimes considered depending on my free time and the
complexify of the job. Feel free to drop a notecard with
your needs and proposed payment range and I'll let you
know if it's something in my range.
Prices are
quoted on an individual basis. I reserve the right to
resell any custom created texture unless we agree
otherwise.

RESELL / SECOND GENERATION
--------------------------------------------------
PLEASE NOTE: We
do not allow our textures to be freely transferred to
another account. If you want to provide textures you've
used in prefabs to customers, please send your customers
to the store with a list of the textures used in your
builds. We will do our best to help them find what they
need.
If you want to have a custom set
vendor put together for your customers based on your
builds or prefabs, please contact me. I will be happy to
put together a custom vendor you can display alongside
your prefabs that will permit your customers to purchase
the textures at the same point of sale as your builds.
If you wish to
be a reseller of Esprit Decor Textures, please contact
SALOME STRANGELOVE and we will explore your options.

GENERAL TEXTURE INFO:
SEAMLESS, SIZE, TRANSPARENT
--------------------------------------------------------------
SEAMLESS -- Most
fabric & floor textures are completely seamless, while
wall textures are, generally, Left-Right seamless only.
Building
and Structural textures like doors and/or windows may
not be seamless at all. If you need information
regarding whether or not a texture is seamless, please
inquire prior to purchase. You may wish to note that
even though seamless textures will generally tile
nicely, some may produce unnatural patterns. For this
reason you should always browse and/or ask questions
before you buy. That said, I never produce a bad texture
knowingly and if one texture is problematic I appreciate
a heads-up so that I can evaluate it.
SIZES -- Most
Esprit Decor textures are provided at either 512x512,
256x256 or 256x512, although there
are several exceptions to this. If you have any texture
size concerns, please inquire prior to purchase.
NONE OF MY
TEXTURES ARE LARGER THAN 512x512. Some textures look
better on larger prims and others on smaller prims. That
is simply the nature of textures. Custom resizes are not
available.
TRANSPARENT TEXTURES -- Some
residents experience problems (alpha
bugs) with transparent textures,
especially on spheres, hollowed surfaces, and/or
overlapping textures. Please be aware of this before
purchasing a transparent texture. Transparent textures
are generally provided as a short-cut to using the
Transparency option on the Edit Objects Texture Tab or
when you only want part of the texture to be invisible
(ie: window panes are invisible, but window frames at
full setting).

By purchasing an
Esprit Decor Texture or Texture Set you are agreeing to
abide by the usage outlined in our Copyright Policy.
All Esprit Decor
textures are sold with full Second Life permissions, but
that does not mean they are licensed for all uses.
ED textures may
not be resold, or retouched/manipulated and resold under
any circumstance. Likewise, ED textures may not be given
away free on their own or as part of a package deal.
Obviously, you
may use these textures on all your personal projects.
Builders,
clothes, and furniture designers are free to use
textures they purchase directly in my store in the
construction of their wares which can then be sold to
others. However, these textures may not be resold or
given away to other parties on their own, or as part of
another transaction. If you give/sell an object my
texture should not be accessible off that object for the
buyer to use individually (IE - the buyer should not be
able to take my texture from your item into their own
inventory or save it to their hard drive). In
circumstances where you feel this will inhibit your
ability to place a sale, please let me know. I am always
happy to create a custom package builders/designers can
offer to clients so that they will not have to purchase
multiple sets.
I know that I
can't completely stop customers from sharing with their
friends and I have no desire to police SL for people who
do so, but I ask that you please limit your sharing and
encourage your friends to purchase a set if they like my
textures. If you give away my textures you are doing so
without my permission and violating our store copyright
policy.
Esprit Decor is committed to
protecting and respecting the copyrights of others as
well as our own.
Many of my
textures are created from scratch based on patterns I've
reconstructed from outside resources. Some are retouched
from personal scans and royalty free photo content, and
still others are manipulated textures from bundled
sources that permit their images for such use.
If you see a
texture that you believe is based on a protected image,
please notify me. Likewise, I hope that if you see
textures of mine for sale at other locations you will
let me know. However, keep in mind that texture stores
like mine likely pull from similar sources and it's
possible for us to end up with similar textures through
no violation of copyright or theft. If there's a
particular texture all over the place, itis likely from
a royalty-free CD or source and not a case of stealing,
so please give myself and others the benefit of the
doubt when inquiring.
I would much
rather make textures than deal with grumpy copyright
issues, so please be respectful of what you find here.
Time and care was involved in the quality of these
